Efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals require commitment and dedication to ensure equity in access to healthcare. At SHEILD, our aim is to form strong collaborations and partnerships with government agencies, the corporate world and individual persons   to help assess health needs and develop timely interventions to address national health issues.
SHEILD Our core mission, as an organization, is to heighten the awareness of, educate, intervene and help manage most non-communicable diseases amongst others These include diabetes and hypertension which lead to strokes, heart failure, kidney failure and other disabling conditions if uncontrolled.
Over the years we have, in partnership with the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Health Service, established the Ghana Police Hospital Dialysis Centre in Accra and the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital Dialysis Centre at Mampong in the Eastern Region. Support for these programmes was received from very notable personalities in public service.
Building Stronger Health Systems Through Partnership
Effective partnerships build stronger health systems. At SHEILD, we collaborate with government agencies, healthcare institutions, and stakeholders to support sustainable healthcare development and improve access to healthcare centres for the management of NCDs.
